SPECIFICATIONS

The coater consists of a welded square shaped frame. The frame contains a transformer, a blower with a manometer 8-800 mm water pressure and a reversible

motor driven table.

Height of the Air Knife above the test specimen and its angle in relation to the test specimen are adjustable.

Air pressure is set by means of a control knob and is readily indicated on the built-in pressure gauge and air gap is adjustable by the opening the slits with the screws along the Iength of the airknife and is generally kept at 0.04-0.05 cm.

It is a convenient Coater for paper sheets 10" x 12" and is an important aid in screening work, when papers, pigment -coating and plastic dispersions are tested

in the lab.
